Hog Hunting Dogs in Action
We are proud to train and continually hone the skills of these fine hog hutting dogs.
Hog hunting dogs are also known as catch dogs and trailing dogs. Most of these dogs bark while in hot pursuit in chasing these hogs. Once these hog hunting dogs have the javelina or other hog/pig cornered and at bay, the catch dog moves in and holds the hog until the hunters can get the animal fully trapped. By having our dogs with fine bloodlines and going thru consistent training they become highly skilled at catching these ferocious and nuisance animals.
